Classical Guitarist
I have been playing for 40+ years and trained in classical guitar performance. I am available to play for weddings, fine dining settings, wineries/wine tasting events, art exhibits and private concerts. The classical guitar has a beautiful repertoire which I draw from. I also play sacred music as well as contemporary popular music. I also share music that I have written.
The Ministry of Spiritual Encouragement
This is a special form of ministry to people who are isolated or experiencing discouragement or limitations.
This is a reflection of David’s ministry to Saul in which
Whenever the spirit from God came on Saul, David would take up his lyre and play.
Then relief would come to Saul; he would feel better, and the evil spirit would leave him.
1 Samuel 16:14-23 NIV
While there is a lot going on with Saul in this text, my focus is that David would offer a form of music to Saul that would bring relief and he would feel better.
This is not a common form of ministry, but I believe it offers to people God’s gracious gift of music in a very special way to people who are experiencing difficulty. But rather than just playing a recording, this is a relational form of ministry, offering one another’s presence to one another in the Presence of God with music at the center of the offering.

Teaching
I am also accepting students who want to study guitar. I focus on classical guitar technique to establish a good foundation, while also branching out into other areas.
